"I would like to express my deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the recent earthquake centered in southern Turkey, and my heartfelt sympathy to those who have been affected.
The Bando Group donated a total of approximately 500,000 yen through the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Japan through the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Japan. In addition, in response to a request from the local authorities, Bando Belt Manufacturing (Turkey), Inc., a local subsidiary in Turkey, provided relief supplies such as food to the disaster-stricken areas through Kocieli Prefecture, where the company is located.
Immediately after the earthquake in February this year, the Group donated a total of approximately 3 million yen through the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Japan and the Turkish Agency for Disaster and Emergency Preparedness (AFAD). We provided relief supplies, but since more than a month after the earthquake, many people are still living in evacuation shelters. We have provided additional support in the hope that they will be able to return to a peaceful life as soon as possible."
